Mine/Civil Technician or Technologist or Surveyor

This position reports to the Mine Technician Supervisor. This position is located in  Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada  and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

Work safely in an industrial environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place Reports any unusual conditions, hazards or defects Use and care for all Mine Technician equipment Responsible for borer alignment and measuring progress Take samples of ore and brine Familiar with ore body (geology and mark up) Assist in taking rock mechanics measurements Maintains appropriate housekeeping and keep tools in a good state of repair

What you will bring:

Technical school graduate from a recognized Mine, Civil, Geomatics Technician or Technologist course, or other relevant surveying course including Environmental Technician/Technologist course Positive safety behavior and safety leadership Ability to work in a neat, precise manner Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment and independently Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience of the operations of all survey related functions Ability to drive or willing to learn the operations of standard underground equipment
