Paintline Feeder Worker

Randstad Canada is hiring for an Paintline Feeder Worker in Milton for one of our leading clients in the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing industry.

This position is intended to be an initial contract via Randstad Canada until the employee is able to converted to the client's team as an internal employee.

Plant seeks a Mechanical Assembler. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role involves interpreting manufacturing documents to assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts or modify basic components, sub-assemblies, and structures using hand and power tools.

The location is on Industrial Dr, Milton, ON.

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime.

Starting wage is $22/hr.

Shifts: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, M-F

Responsibilities
Follow detailed specifications, work instructions, and supervision.
Operate Dynamic Machine Management (DMM) and drawing search software (Enovia, Vault, etc.).
Perform titration tests and troubleshoot chemical mix and pH levels.
Monitor and troubleshoot automated spray systems for effective coverage.
Replace wash system chemicals and maintain the Pre-Treat system.
Manage powder paint storage, requisitions, and inventory.
Load, unload, and manually paint non-standard colors.
Inspect final product for cosmetic and functional quality.
Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems.
Prioritize jobs by required date or supervisor's direction.
Perform regular equipment maintenance per TPM sheet.
Complete other assigned duties.

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing facility.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics (asset).
Ability to perform standard work procedures and processes.
Experience with mechanical tools and measuring equipment for assembly.
Good problem-solving, mathematical, and troubleshooting skills.
