Senior Manager, Cyber Security Operations

This is a hybrid role, based out of the Cineplex Head Office at 1303 Yonge St, Toronto, 3 days per week.

The Cineplex Cyber Security Team has an immediate opening for the position ofSenior Manager, Security Operations, reporting to the VP, Cyber Security. As the Senior Manager of Cyber Security Operations you will be the first line of defence by modeling and leading the security team efforts to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Cineplex data, systems and services. You will lead the daily cyber incident response function, as well as threat management and risk management activities. Provide guidance to business units on PCI DSS 4.0 compliance and controls that can be implemented to maintain compliance. Participate in maintaining 99.9+% availability of all client side production services and manage and enhance the security processes and technologies to identify, deter, investigate and remediate security events.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and enhance the Vulnerability Management Program, process and report accurate metrics that can help support teams to reduce riskServe as a SME on threat Intelligence and conduct research on emerging threats and identify and deploy solutions to prevent such threats occurringManage the SIEM platform and lead efforts to fine tune it’s capabilities and enhance the scope of the platformLead the Security Operations Team to own and manage EDR and Advanced Threat ProtectionManage the operational components of application security e.g. SAST, DAST and WAF TechnologiesContribute to maintaining Cineplex’s security, privacy and crisis management policiesDevelop systems, software and skills to stay ahead of emerging threatsParticipate in security and IT regulation audits e.g. PCI DSSAct as a liaison between Security and IT OperationsGuide the development of the Privileged Access Management ProgramManage 4 direct reports.

Education and Certification:

Certifications: CISSP, CRISC, GCFA, CISM, CISA, PCI QSA/ISA, PMP

Experience:

8+ years of experience in an IT Security related position

5+ years of experience with Systems/Network Administration

5+ years of experience with Windows Clients/ Servers

2+ years of experience w/ Linux (ESX VMWare, MS Virtual Servers) 

4+ years of experience w/ SQL

Experience with Firewall rules hygene

Familiarity with backup tooling and ransomware proof procedures

Worked in a PCI environment

Knowledge of Canadian Privacy Laws

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Previous experience in an IT Security related position 

Previous experience in an Information Security Advisory Role 

Experience in technology Risk Management processes.

Experience as an Information Security Architect is an asset.

Experience with Application Security

Ability to take initiative and work proactively with minimal supervision.

Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude. Capable of fostering strong working relationships

Ability to work with sensitive and confidential material.
