Job Description:
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Delivery Driver is responsible for completing daily deliveries of medications and medical supplies to our customers in Onoway and the surrounding area. They will be responsible for the organization and distribution of merchandise, record keeping, and inventory-related duties. As we do not have a company delivery vehicle, the applicant must be able and willing to provide an appropriate vehicle.
5 to 10 hours per week. The usual shifts will be Monday to Friday between 1:00 to 4:00 1 to 2 hours per day.Responsibilities:
Delivery
Do all pickups and deliveries. Maintain daily reporting as required. Complete proper delivery documentation. Ensure delivery slips are signed and submitted. Complete monthly totals for delivery record keeping.Qualifications & Skills:
The candidate must have a suitable vehicle. Candidates must possess a valid and permanent provincial driver's licence. Must have held a safe driving record for the past 3 years. Eligible candidates must provide a driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days Responsible, Bondable and Trustworthy. Ability to lift and maneuver large packages. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments. Strong customer service skills and a display of a high degree of professionalism Ability to follow proper procedures and guidelines. Due to this position’s sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.Neighbourly Pharmacy is an equal opportunity employer.
