Make an impact with our National Tax Services Group as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals provides best-in-class industry and technical expertise to internally drive the success of our Tax practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and materials and the communication of tax matters.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clients Troubleshoot queries relating to the preparation of tax returns through the firm’s tax software Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updates Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standards Facilitate and assist with firm-wide learning and development events as required Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publications Issue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firm  Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred) Completion of a CPA designation (completion of CFE examination and working towards relevant practical experience requirements will also be considered) 4 or more years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm Working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. personal income tax Experience working with accounting and tax software
