We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator who enjoys following process and quality standards. This role is Permanent from day 1 and is a straight afternoon shift (no rotating) - the shift is 2:30 PM-11:00 PM Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week (NO WEEKENDS)

The rate of pay is $19 per hour to start plus shift premium

Responsibilities
What you will be doing?

• Be part of the function rotation between Assembly and Packaging
• Ensure that all assembly machines are operating effectively and efficiently.
• Set up and operate all packaging cells (Ohlson, Sprints, Jar Pack, Accucount, Batchmaster, Blister Pack
machines)
• Monitor machines for inefficiencies and minor troubleshooting.
• Daily and monthly preventative maintenance
• Articulate inefficiencies to the Maintenance Technician and/or Production Manager in a timely manner
• Maintain high 6S standards.
• Maintain stock levels utilizing approved Lean systems.
• Compliance with all safety rules and regulations and report all potential/actual hazards to the manager.

Qualifications
• A Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is required
• A minimum of 3 years of experience operating manufacturing machines is required
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs occasionally
