Fondée en 1985, la clinique Nouveau Départ – EHN Canada offre des services spécialisés aux personnes qui souffrent de problèmes tels que l'alcoolisme, la toxicomanie et/ou toutes autres formes de dépendance. La clinique traite non seulement les problèmes de dépendance de diverses sources, mais aussi les troubles comorbides de santé mentale que présente certains individus. 

Missions et responsabilités  

Sous l'autorité de la Chef d’équipe, administration et opérations du département, le poste ‘’support aux patients ‘’ consiste à ce que vous soyez présents, à l’écoute et disponible pour les résidents. Vous devez garder un œil sur les patients et aviser de tout changement dans l'état physique, émotionnel ou mental du patient. Le ‘’support aux patients ‘’ communique le statut du patient, y compris les changements, périodiquement, au thérapeute assigné et/ou l’infirmière au poste. 

Description du poste : 

Être à l’écoute des patients ;  Observer, identifier et dépister les symptômes de craving et les besoins de soutien;  Accompagner les patients dans divers besoins;  Accompagner les patients pour les aider à éviter l’isolement (éviter le ruminage non nécessaire);  Établir une relation d’aide ;  En support complémentaire aux personnels infirmiers, intervenir dans des situations de crise ;  Accompagner les patients à des expositions à la suite d’une autorisation (dentiste, rdv médicale, etc.).

Tâches : 

Assurer la gestion de participation aux exercices thérapeutiques fourni par l’équipe clinique ;  Assurer la rédaction du bilan de la journée;  Rencontrer le personnel infirmier pour un briefing des patients et identifier les patients qui ont besoin de soutien;  Faire des tournées continuelles ;  Communiquer à l’équipe clinique l’information pertinente reliée aux interventions faites avec les patients incluant des descriptions de l’état mentale du/de la patient(e), des observations comportementales ainsi que les rapports d’intervention ;

Profil recherché : 

Expérience en relation d’aide;  Démontrer une bonne capacité d’écoute ; Capacité à soutenir le personnel infirmier en situation de crise ;  Faire preuve de bonne communication interpersonnelle ;  Être capable de travailler en équipe ; Avoir une bonne capacité d’adaptation ; Faire preuve d’une bonne ouverture d’esprit ; Certificat en Toxicomanie et/ou expérience pertinente en toxicomanie (Atouts)  Diplôme d’études secondaire (DES)  Expérience ou connaissance en santé et/ou santé mentale/toxicomanie.
