Operations include two manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and Customer Solution Centres located in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

We are currently recruiting for an entry level Service Technician I to join our Edmonton team. This individual would be aiding lead technicians in completing local and/or out of town service calls, on-site repairs, completing paperwork in customers’ homes on All Weather Windows products (windows and doors).

If you have a track record of excellent customer service, carpentry skills, proficiency with hand tools, site and/or construction experience, and a positive team-focused attitude, you are an ideal candidate for this position. We are looking for someone who can work on their own to complete simple jobs efficiently and effectively, as well as someone who we can train to assist team members in more complex repairs.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Repair of windows and doors in homes and businesses On-site repair of product and installation of Glass and site glazing Replacing sealed units and door slabs and adjusting windows and doors Inspecting job sites, measuring sealed units and replacing capping and caulking Handles on-site problems as they occur Performs heavy lifting of glass Maintains detailed paperwork Represent All Weather Windows in professional and courteous manner Complying with all Health & Safety regulations Perform in shop service work Performing other duties as require

Primary Qualifications Required:

Mechanical aptitude, skill and experience with hand tools Some product knowledge preferred Good customer relations, written and verbal communication skills Innovative and problem-solving skills Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting of glass Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision Flexible and adaptable in any situation Position will require working overtime at short notice Travel may be required Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
