The hourly rate ranges from $42.01 to $47.47.

The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Responsibilities 

Reporting to the utilities supervisor, the electromechanic will have the following main responsibilities:

Diagnose issues to determine their origin, perform necessary repairs, and restore functionality.Conduct preventive maintenance on ventilation, heating, refrigeration systems, automatic doors, as well as overhead cranes and the fire alarm system.Perform repair work on oil furnaces and various pumps.Maintain speed regulators and monitor pumping systems.Carry out any other electromechanical tasks deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Qualifications 

Vocational diploma (DEP) in automated systems and/or DEP in industrial mechanics, specializing in construction and maintenance, or a related field considered relevant.Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience within an industrial company.Good knowledge in building mechanics: ventilation systems, air conditioning.Relevant experience and knowledge in fire systems.Ability to diagnose problems with a variety of equipment.Aptitude to interpret equipment plans and specifications.Experience in piping, electricity, electronics, and air conditioning are assets.Possession of electrical license C.Possession of a refrigeration license will be considered an asset.Valid Class 5 driver's license required.Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French / English) is an asset to facilitate and enhance our internal communications.
