 We are currently recruiting a Production Supervisor, reporting to the Operations Manager for our Moncton, NB location.

  Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and guidance for production employees. Organize and maintain an effective workflow. Establish departmental procedures and ensure policies and procedures are followed. Facilitate and encourage effective communications. Identify and address areas of concern and seek solutions for resolution. Promote and ensure quality in all aspects of department functions. Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship and strong safety culture with supervisors and department employees to ensure compliance for all applicable health and safety regulations.  Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Assist Operations Manager in preparing and implementing action plans and continuous improvement strategies.

  Required knowledge and training includes:

Experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing workplace. Ability to work rotating shift schedules. Post-secondary education with a focus on manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, supply chain management, inventory control, or materials management, would be an asset. First Aid, CPR and Emergency First Responder training, or the willingness to receive training. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent customer service orientation. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with little supervision.
