SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Department: Circle K Tech
Location: Suite 200-400 March Rd, Kanata ON, K2K 3H4
Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours) in office
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director , within our Circle K Tech Inc. team, the Senior Software Developer will develop and maintain cloud applications, working with IOT (internet of things) devices.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

User management, device management, analytics, and reporting Build on cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) Comfortable with testing and analyzing data Work with REST APIs and Elastic Learn about secure coding styles and assess vulnerability threats Become familiar with fundamentals of Big Data Learn and contribute to our repository of foundation classes used in development of our core products Contribute to design, test and customer documentationWHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer ScienceExperience:
5 years’ experience working on small teams Experience with PHP, CSS, JavaScript, Full Stack (frontend, backend and networking) Experience with GitHub, Confluence and Jira considered an asset Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) considered an asset End-to-end software development lifecycle experience (requirements, design, implementation,testing and docs
Knowledge and skills:
