The remote Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the installation process and the Installation Team. This individual will direct the onboarding, relocation, and closeout processes and provide oversight to the Install Team to ensure the timely completion of projects and maximum client satisfaction.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Manage all installation and relocation projects from submission to closeout, ensuring that projects are completed in a timely manner and within the assigned budget, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct/lead client onboarding/relocation/closeout meetings, updating and documenting the conversations using the applicable workbooks.

  • Management of the installation calendar and field installer schedules.

  • Quoting, tracking and scheduling of equipment deliveries, relocations, pickups, and lease returns with external vendors, escalating issues to management both internally and externally when required.

  • Communication with key stakeholders regarding project status, scheduling, and staffing.

  • Ensure that all contracts are added/terminated in Xerox applications and applicable internal systems, including monthly contracts audit.

  • Organization of assets in Data Collection Software and configuration of meter exports for billing.

  • Assist with onsite surveys for upcoming installations to ensure adequate space, power, network/fax availability, and identify obstacles that could impede complete installation of the solution.

  • Provide onsite and remote assistance with installations during periods of high volume/short staffing.

  • Process mapping and documentation updates as required to align the installation team with organizational strategic plan and Xerox policy.

  • Identify process gaps and make suggestions for process improvements/continuous improvement.

  • Other projects/responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Skill Set:

  • Strong project management and organization skills

  • Proven ability to think "out-of-the box" in working with a customer in designing alternative document workflow solutions

  • Strong leadership skills by managing tasks and most especially people

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in time planning, scheduling and management

  • Proven ability to assimilate new information quickly

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

  • Advanced listening and questioning skills

  • Understands how to explain a complex problem in a way that others can understand

  • Demonstrated proficiency in identifying stated and unstated document workflow issues … a problem solver

  • Strong negotiating skills to resolve disputes

Experience:

  • Industry experience in office equipment, managed IT services, or business software solutions preferred

  • Minimum of 3 year of experience using a CRM system for activity reporting

  • Experience in following a documented, consultative process is plus

  • A college degree or equivalent job experience
