Our Transmission and Distribution Lines team isspread out across Canada, mainly in our Mont-Saint-Hilaire (head office),Toronto and Calgary offices. Lead a team responsible for designing efficient and reliable lines; Serve as a technical project leader or manager, ensuring that the project is on schedule, on budget and meets quality standards; Design and produce engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects (from 5 kV to 765 kV); Prepare PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE models; Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines; Supervise inspection of existing lines and produce required reports; Support and supervise the quality of the work of engineers, technicians and drafters; Prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications.

Overview of certifications andjob requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering; At least 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution lines; Relevant structural experience; Technical writing skills; Knowledge of the PLS-CADD suite; Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec; Asset:bilingual (English and French).
