Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Physiotherapist to join the Long Term Care team working at Cedarview Lodge in North Vancouver, BC. The work days and hours for this position are negotiable. Apply today to join our team
As a Physiotherapist you will:
Provide professional clinical physiotherapy services to residents and resource education to the health care team.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy. Three (3) years recent clinical experience in geriatric setting or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC). Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Ability to determine and deal with emergent situations and exercise reasonable judgement when dealing with families and staff. Ability to develop and present educational material. Ability to work within and support a team approach to care. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
Closing Statement
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
As per the current Public Health Orders, as of October 5, 2023, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have received a single dose of the most-recent, updated COVID-19 vaccine. Proof of vaccination status will be required.
