As a colleague in one of our stores, you will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction by:
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Ensuring accurate product scanning
• Executing company-directed promotions and programs
• Maintaining product displays

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience. To assist in the directing and supervising of all produce staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service; To assist in the set-up of the department by assisting in the effective merchandising of produce through attractive and appealing displays, occasionally assisting in the creation of effective planograms; To write and receive produce orders, check invoices, unload and distribute merchandise accordingly; To fill, rotate and maintain displays ensuring the quality of produce meets company standards; To assist in the training of new staff; To solve any customer/employee complaints or problems while left in charge of the department; To perform other duties, as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

Exceptional customer service skills The ideal candidate MUST possess a minimum of 3 years’ produce experience in a retail produce environment, with good knowledge of greens, fresh fruits, the salad bar, and bulk foods Previous management experience a definite asset; Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings and weekends; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure; Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
