Job Description

  • Engages in performance improvement efforts on product specification, quality assurance initiatives and process optimization.
  • Flexibility in providing Technical and Operational support to cross functional Teams to maintaining an OEE level at or above 85%. 
  • Escalates issues beyond and assist production as required to effect repairs, maintenance and quality.
  • Focuses on product quality with regards to boundary samples, standard work instruction and market requirements.
  • Actions other tasks and duties as and when required
  • Executes Administrative tasks required of the role.
  • Supports organizational philanthropic, quality and environmental initiatives and model Company’s core values: Continuous Learning, Insight to Action, Passionate Advocate for Our Brand, Respect for Each Other and Departmental Collaboration

Qualifications

  • Form 6 pass
  • Tertiary qualifications in quality systems and/or quality assurance desirable and 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be computer literate – Word and Excel
  • Have good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Food Safety protocols
  • Willingness to learn new things and take on new projects or tasks.
  • Can work with minimum supervision
