Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation team in our Calgary Office.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
A Day in the life of a Technologist at Pinchin:
Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA’s)Conduct historical and regulatory researchPrepare, review, and edit technical reportsComplete field investigations related to the assessment of sites and the sampling of soil, groundwater and vapourLiaise with subcontractorsSupport project scope development and implementationWork in a both self-lead and team environmentsLiaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representativesBegin to develop and maintain positive client relationshipsWhat you bring to the Pinchin team:
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science2 to 5 years’ related experienceExcellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solveStrong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationsAbility to thrive in a team environmentProficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookValid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated) Availability to work outside of core business hoursWhat’s in it for you:
