Seasonal Agro Driver

What you’ll do:

The Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand.

Understanding and following Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety  Providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto  Load/unload seed, chemical and other product as needed Operate equipment including forklifts Farm deliveries Assisting the Sales Team as required Other responsibilities and projects as assigned

This position may require the use of equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and stock carts, as well as heavy lifting of product. Frequent operating/driving company vehicles is required with deliveries.

The candidate must be able to travel between the Hanna, AB and Consort AB, Co-op locations on a daily/weekly basis. 

Start and end dates of this seasonal position are flexible.

Who you are:

We are looking for a positive, approachable and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork) Class 3 license is required, with Class 1 being an asset Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted Professional, people-first, Guest service skills  Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills Quality communication skills  Ability to work effectively with others Able to work days, evenings and weekends (driving shifts will be primarily during the week). Approximately 40 hours per week.
