In this role youwill:

  • Act as the SubjectMatter Expert for Enterprise Risk Management Business ContinuityManagement and Emergency Response for the companys operationsacross Canada
  • Provide advice on innovationgovernance tools practices policies and management necessary toidentify evaluate mitigate and monitor the companys operational andstrategic risk in a framework aligned to ISO31000
  • Prepare quarterly Enterprise Risk reportsfor the Executive Committee
  • Coordinate andconduct periodic training for and testing of the incident emergencyresponse and business continuity structures assess the results andmake recommendations to enhance theseprograms
  • Support the Crisis Communicationsprogram and act as an alternate manager for the Critical IncidentManagement toolset
  • Maintain and update plansand documentation for business continuity and riskprograms
  • Provide support to maintainingDocument of Controls with the Director ofFinance
  • Conduct periodic Business ImpactAnalysis
  • Support the Quality Assurance SecurityHeath Safety and Environment teams ensure alignment on strategicobjectives and processes iaw the Three Lines of Defence modeland
  • Act as a company wide resource regularlyinteracting with and advising Senior Managers Directors and VicePresidents in their roles as risk control owners and risksponsors

The idealcandidate brings:

  • 4 yearsof meaningful experience in risk management or Middle/Back Officeservice
  • Experience and knowledge of RiskManagement concepts like Operational risk management Risk appetiteInternal controls Business continuity management Crises managementThird party risk management and related operational resilienceconcepts
  • Experience and knowledge of changemanagement communications and learning principles methodologies andtools
  • Experience working in a matrixedenvironment and coordination of work across a large number ofpartners
  • Excellent verbal written andinterpersonal communication skills morespecifically:
  • Very goodcapability to communicate on a regular basis with SeniorLeaders
  • Able to competently act as a datarecorder/scribe during risk assessment working sessions draw upexecutive reports and prepare a highendpresentation
  • Ability toefficiently analyze reports and communicate key messages tomanagement levels
  • Ability for strategicanalytical and critical thinking to support appropriate riskmanagement measurements and effectively support thoserecommendations
  • Excellent time managementskills including the ability to work well under pressure andconstantly adjust priorities
  • Ability to supportthe management of projects including their planning organizationand implementation
  • Certification in riskmanagement an asset
  • You are eligible for aCanadian Secret Security and ITARClearance
