Job Description
Our Gynecologic Oncologists work closely with a collegial multi-disciplinary team as well as radiation and medical oncology, surgery, pathology, diagnostic imaging. Clinical service includes new patient visits/consults, medical/surgical care, follow-up visits/ongoing monitoring as well as participation in clinical trials patient enrollment. On-call and after hours care is supported by Clinical Associates and Residents. Teaching is required; (protected time is provided) and will be assigned based on an equivalent sharing principle within the provincial group. Other shared and distributed provincial activities include presentation of M&M rounds, regular attendance and participation in the provincial quality improvement committee, monthly business meetings, journal clubs, as well as provincial retreats.
Job Qualifications
Education:
Degree in Medicine with specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty fellowship certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Gynecologic Oncology. Work experience is an asset. An interest in and/or prior experience with clinical research is considered an asset. Credentials: Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Must be eligible for membership and privileges with the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Regina. Other: Criminal record check CMPA Coverage or equivalent Written and verbal fluency in English Three references will be required (at least one from a practicing Gynecologic Oncologist)
