Non-Ferrous Receiver

We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Wallaceburg location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
- Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals
- Classify the non-ferrous and establish the type of material
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Data entry into the RECY system
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help with torch cutting if necessary
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Experience in operating a forklift
- Experience in metal recycling
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent attendance and safety record.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

HOURS OF WORK
- Permanent full-time position
- 44 hours per week, able to work extended hours/weekends when deemed necessary
