Capital Ford Lincoln in Regina is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairsExplain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customersInspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be madeMaintain up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of servicing vehicles and learn new technology and maintenance practices

Qualifications

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipmentAbility to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical documentsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsWillingness to participate in in-dealership trainingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license
