We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration | Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our dedicated and supportive team at Overlander Extended Care in Kamloops, BC.

Your Role:
In this position, you'll perform skilled HVAC and refrigeration mechanic work at the journeyman level, ensuring the efficient fabrication, installation, alteration, repair, and service of refrigeration/cooling and air handling systems, including building automated control systems. You'll review work requests, consult with user departments on specifications, and interpret blueprints to determine necessary materials and equipment. Your responsibilities also include calculating project costs, conducting operational and safety risk assessments, and coordinating work schedules. Additionally, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various components such as compressors, valves, pumps, fans, chillers, heat pumps, switches, and cooling towers, ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and regulations.

This position:
This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday day shifts with every second Friday off and this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package. This is a regional position servicing many different areas and communities and will require some travel and occasional overnight trips.
