OVERVIEW:
From corrugated packaging, paper bags, retail displays, pre-print, supply and inventory management, paper mills and recycling, Atlantic is strategically positioned to provide customers with a total packaging solution.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Atlantic Packaging is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SOC Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for leading and managing our Security Operations Center (SOC) across multiple locations in Canada and the United States. The SOC Manager will play a key role in establishing and maintaining an effective security monitoring and incident response program to protect our organization's all digital assets including ICS across multiple locations in Canada and the United States.

Reports to: Manager, Information Security

What you'll be doing:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the SOC, including incident response, threat intelligence, and security monitoring activities. Establish and maintain effective security monitoring and incident response procedures to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents. Responsible for all security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective resolution of security incidents. Manage and mentor a team of SOC analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Coordinate with external vendors and partners to enhance the organization's security capabilities and threat intelligence. Conduct regular assessments and audits of the SOC infrastructure and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities to proactively enhance the organization's security posture. Develop and deliver regular reports and metrics on the SOC's performance and effectiveness to senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute tabletop exercises and incident response drills to test the organization's incident response capabilities.

What you'll bring to the table:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIH) will be an asset. Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center (SOC) in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence practices. Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and log management systems. Familiarity with industry regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001). Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving continuous improvement. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to various locations within Canada and the United States as needed.
