Qualifications:
Required: Associate Degree in early childhood education or Child Development or the equivalent or valid classroom CDA credential.

Preferred: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training, certification in CPR and First Aid

Skills & Abilities
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers

· Ability to work well with diverse families

· Knowledge of community agencies and other resources

Job Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the lead Great Start Readiness Preschool Teacher to provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational program. This position includes assisting the classroom teacher in maintaining required records to ensure GSRP grant compliance and licensing guidelines are met.
