Visionpool Business Services is hiring a HYBRID Test Lead who will:

· Test Development Management: Create test cases, test scripts, and perform testing as necessary to meet tight deadlines.
· Test Execution Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of test case execution, ensuring adherence to the test plans and schedules. Monitor the progress of testing activities and adjust as necessary to meet project milestone. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders. Oversee all testing activities, all members involved in testing, and ensure that aggressive deadlines are met.
· Defect Management: Manage a robust defect tracking and resolution process. Ensure all defects are accurately logged, categorized, prioritized, and assigned for retesting and closure.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all testing is carried out to the highest quality standards. Implement and maintain quality metrics to track the effectiveness and efficiency of testing activities.
· Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a diverse team of testers, including business testers, ensuring they are well-informed, equipped, and have everything they need to carry out their testing duties. Train, coach, and mentor others on how to follow the test plan and apply testing techniques and practices.
· Issue Escalation: Act as the primary point of contact for all issues arising from test execution and defect management. Escalate issues promptly to the QA Strategy Lead and Testing Workstream Project Manager to facilitate swift resolution and maintain project momentum.
· Defect Triage: Organize and chair defect triage meetings, fostering collaboration to determine the severity and priority of defects.
· Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear communication channels with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on test progress, defect statistics, and potential risks. · Test Cycle Coordination: Manage the entire cycle of test execution, including kick-offs, daily scrum calls, and the final closure of test phases.
· Tool Management: Oversee the use of defect management tools, ensuring they are utilized effectively and that the defect tracking system is kept in sync with project activities.

Requirements and Qualifications
· Minimum 10  years of direct experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for large and complex IT projects.
· Minimum 7 years of direct experience as a Test Lead for major application including owning the responsibility of developing and enforcing test plans, leading other Testers, reviewing other Testers’ deliverables, developing communication methods and communicating test progress and test results.
· Experts at developing test plans, evaluating test scripts and putting them to use.
· Solid knowledge of software development life cycles, testing processes, testing techniques and test automation.
· Experience working in agile and hybrid projects. · Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
· Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
· Proven ability to analyze complex problems and find innovative solutions.
· Experience with SQL.
· Experience in implementing SaaS cloud solutions would be an asset.
