Job Description

Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team? As a Steward/Dishwasher, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests.

What you will be doing:

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of all surfaces Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen Responsible for garbage, compost and recycling stations and disposing of these items accordingly Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including the dishwashing machines and sinks Wash dishware, glassware, cutlery, cooking equipment/vessels, etc. Ensure proper storage of all dishware and cutlery when not in use Maintain proper storage and use of associated chemicals Assist with setup of function requests such as plate orders, etc. Follow all policies, procedures and service standards, including health & safety procedures
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Previous hotel and/or restaurant work experience an asset Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time, as well as safely lift up to 50 lbs Ability be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with excellent organizational skills Understanding of food safety and hygiene Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
