ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Lot Attendant position is a fantastic starting opportunity within the automotive industry as it presents you with exposure to all departments in the dealership. In addition, you will be provided with exposure to inventory and customer engagement.

Responsible for inventory maintenance and management. This includes audits and quality checks of the inventory, reporting lot damage or malfunctioning vehicles immediately, check vehicles arriving for damaged or missing parts, install stock number stickers, pricing signs and body panel etching. Responsible for parking lot organization including, realigning the vehicle displays and ensuring customer parking is available. Transports vehicles to and from the compound, dealer trades, third party sublet locations, body shop and auction. Responsible for the showroom and demo vehicle organization, including displaying the correct vehicles while ensuring they are clean and fueled. Verify current day and next day deliveries, determine vehicle location and ensure vehicle is brought to the appropriate location. Ensures walkways and entrances are free of debris, ice and snow at all times and proper signage is current and in good repair Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Introduced to exposure and collaboration with members of management within different departments.

ABOUT YOU

Requires a valid Alberta driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract. Ability to carefully and safely drive both a standard and automatic vehicle. Organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks. Must be dependable, punctual and have a “can do” attitude with a focus on customer service. You have a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills. You thrive in an environment that supports collaboration and respect. You are passionate about making a difference.
