Job Description

Job Title: SAP MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Functional Consultant – S/4HANA

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Process Mapping:

• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation projects in a global or large enterprise environment
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO).
• Develop and document detailed process maps for key MRO activities such as preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, asset management,       and spare parts inventory management.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, designing scalable MRO solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce             downtime.
• Identify opportunities for automation, predictive maintenance, and optimization of the MRO process.


End-to-End MRO Process Optimization:
• Implement and optimize MRO processes in SAP S/4HANA, covering equipment maintenance, work order management, maintenance planning, spare     parts procurement, and asset lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, and inventory management teams to ensure the efficient use of spare parts and equipment.
• Ensure seamless integration of MRO processes with other SAP modules, including Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), and     Finance (FI).


System Configuration & Customization:
• Configure SAP S/4HANA to support MRO processes, including asset management, maintenance work orders, spare parts inventory, and preventive       maintenance scheduling.
• Customize and enhance MRO workflows to meet specific business needs, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory                       requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing enhancements and ensuring that system configurations align with industry best practices.
• Project Leadership & Support:
• Lead SAP MRO-related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with         business objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and external consultants to ensure the successful delivery of MRO solutions within SAP             S/4HANA.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for MRO processes within SAP S/4HANA.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Act as the subject matter expert for MRO, working closely with maintenance, operations, procurement, and IT teams to ensure alignment of SAP         solutions with business goals.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and change management initiatives to drive user adoption and operational efficiency.
• Work with other functional teams to ensure integration and alignment of MRO processes with finance, procurement, and supply chain             operations.

Preferred Skills:


• SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant modules (e.g., PM, MRO).
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), and predictive maintenance features.
•.Knowledge of industry-specific MRO practices, such as in manufacturing, utilities, or aviation.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

 



Requirements
Experience (Years): 8-10 Essential Skills: Hands-on working experience architecting Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions, including customization and integration. Guidewire certification is a plus.Other technologies of interest: Guidewire Cloud, Salesforce CRM, legacy modernization, and AWS. Proven knowledge & architecture experience in, architecture (digital / digital marketing / micro / macro / monolithic services, APIs), application integration, service-oriented architecture, event-driven architecture, application architecture, distributed architecture, data architecture and modelling.Proven experience with modelling languages & techniques. Can quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies. Can understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. Strong technical background (platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, open source, etc.).Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) & architecture certifications a plus.Experience in engaging and supporting claims teams and understanding their day-to-day operations in the P&C insurance space. Open and clear connect with the business, telecom, infrastructure, security, audit, vendors, and software engineering. Driven by challenges and results.Organized, proactive and a motivation for change.Knowledge on security standard methodologies and understand the impacts it can have on a business.Comfortable working in a constantly evolving technological environment.An excellent teammate who demonstrates leadership. Comfortable speaking with all levels of the organization and different audiences.
