As an IT Analyst at the Lanigan Potash Mine, you will be part of the Lanigan IT team and the larger Potash and Nutrien IT teams. A very talented IT generalist, you will be responsible for providing on site Tier 1-3 technical support. 

This position reports to the Director, Potash IDS.

What you will do:

Overall day-to-day responsibility for all the IT Systems at Lanigan Support for end user technology including workstations, peripherals, mobile devices, and applications Coordinate and facilitate activities such as hardware and application upgrades Provide support for Cisco network infrastructure that include wired and wireless networks (switches, firewalls, telephony and wireless) Provide support for Windows Servers in a VMware environment Hands on work in the Lanigan data centers Work closely with IT partners across Nutrien (site, Potash, wholesale, and enterprise) in evaluating and coordinating activities and advocating on behalf of the Lanigan business unit Take lead roles in IT projects and initiatives at site Work in collaboration with the site Operational Technologies (OT) personnel and help establish a synergy between IT and OT domains of work Provide excellent IT customer support for all users at Lanigan

What you will bring:

2+ years related experience in an IT role preferably in a mining or industrial environment Education, training, or additional experience that is equivalent to a typical degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Systems Technology, Computer Information Systems, or similar discipline Certifications from Cisco, VMWare and Microsoft will be considered an asset Safety Leadership – promote Safety first in all that we do Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills Strong troubleshooting skills, and an aptitude for solving complex technical challenges when they arise Ability to evaluate technology solutions to meet the needs of the business Customer Focus – be kind, courteous and professional and work in the best interests of your customer Leadership - take ownership of issues and make independent decisions within your scope of responsibility Teamwork - proven history in collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to solve business problems and execute projects Organization - ability to prioritize work, manage workload and report on progress Innovation - continuous reflection, unattached exploration, opportunity focused who can bring new ideas forward
