Job Description
What you will do as a General Labourer:
Outdoor Work: Thrive in outdoor environments, working effectively in various weather conditions. Physical Demands: Confidently handle physically demanding tasks with a strong work ethic. Pallet Handling: Assess, sort, and manage pallets with precision and attention to detail. Tool Operation: Safely operate pneumatic nail guns and other tools essential to the role. Inventory Management: Adhere to and enforce proper inventory procedures, ensuring accurate reporting. Versatility: Take on additional duties as assigned, showcasing adaptability and a proactive approach. Flexible Support: Provide temporary or fill-in support for production or yard operations as needed, maintaining smooth operations across all areas.
Qualifications
Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and understand basic instructions, ensuring tasks are executed with precision and accuracy. Writing Proficiency: Skilled in drafting simple memos and reports to facilitate clear and effective communication. Verbal Communication: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to give and receive instructions, share safety information, and collaborate effectively in small group settings. Quality Assurance: Proven ability to perform essential duties in line with company standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency. Machinery Operation: Demonstrated expertise in operating various machinery, including forklifts, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage and resolve situations as they arise effectively.
