Oracle Service Bus Systems Engineer

System integration of new platforms and services. Design, development and testing of real-time solutions and features prior to implementation in production. Implement software development strategies to build internally or work with external vendors to develop new or enhance existing features. Experience with working in an agile service implementation and distributed environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong technical writing skill and good communication skills. Strong leadership skills and willing to take initiative. 

Particular duties 

•Develop, review, analyse, test, debug and modify integration services using Oracle Service Bus  

•Defining WSDL and schema for services.  Creating and defining transformations in XQuery.  

   

Requirements

  • Demonstrated previous experience with all facets of Oracle Service Bus 12c including business and proxy services, orchestration, customization, resources, Java callouts, various transports and security  
  • Demonstrated previous experience with WebLogic Server including clustering, JDBC connection pools, distributed JMS queues and topics, deploying applications and libraries and scripting with WLST  
  • Strong knowledge and experience with core Java and J2EE including JDBC, JMS and EJB  
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Web Services including JAX-WS, JAX-RPC, JAXB, WS-Security, WSDL and SAML  
  • Strong knowledge and experience with XML technologies including Schemas, XQuery, XPath and XSLT  

Experience requirements 

  • Minimum 5 years of working developing solution on Oracle Service Bus 
  • Minimum 5 years working with REST APIs 
  • Minimum 2 years working in a telecom setting 
  • Minimum 2 years working with customer profile services 
  • Language Requirements: English 

Benefits

  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hours weeks working onsite 3 days a week
  • Location: Toronto, Hybrid 3 days in person
  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor
  • Hourly contract rate: TBD depending on experience
