Aviva has an excellent opportunity in Aviva Business Currently, we are seeking a Senior Underwriter Commercial Auto to join the Ontario National Branch

What You’ll Do:

Assess and evaluate risks for new and existing business (Fleet, Garage), with a focus on National Fleets Analyze reports to resolve adequate exposure and loss ratings. Maintain awareness of market trends, pricing levels and policy form amendments. Manage and negotiate renewal terms for the retention of business. Work with brokers to develop new business opportunities Apply loss control and risk management practices in the underwriting process. Respond to inquiries from brokers regarding modification to policy files in a timely and efficient manner. Build and maintain excellent broker relationships and management of assigned broker portfolios. Provide excellent Customer service.

What You’ll Bring:

7+ years of commercial Auto underwriting (Fleet, Garage) experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and administration skills Highly motivated and hard-working Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proven marketing & relationship building skills Good digital literacy CIP/FCIP is a strong asset Knowledge of the RTM system is an asset
