Reporting to Senior Manager, Global Indirect Tax, this position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of indirect tax including compliance, maintenance of master data and audits.
Qualifications:
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel: superior skills required) and SAP Strong accounting skills and business or equivalent University degree with a concentration in accounting CPA/CPA candidate or accounting designation 3+ years industry or accounting firm corporate income or indirect tax experience Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-focused and results-oriented environmentKey Responsibilities:
Analyze transactional data to ensure mitigation of indirect tax risk Prepare indirect tax returns and other indirect tax filings and respond to government notices Support internal and external stakeholders with indirect tax issues ( invoice processing, billing) Determine taxability of a large volume of manual AR invoices Issue and maintain exemptions for vendors and customers Prepare indirect tax account reconciliations and journal entries Assist with testing SAP (and other) program change requests to ensure the tax changes are functioning correctly Assist with Government indirect tax audits by preparing schedules and obtaining supporting documentation Monitor, communicate and implement changes in indirect tax legislationWe have other current jobs related to this field that you can find below
