A typical day would involve:

Performing daily reconciliation across custodians and investigating and resolving trade breaks and outages to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity across technology and custody platforms Working with members of the Trading and Operations team to: Execute and allocate trades as directed by registrants Operate and maintain portfolio management systems, order management systems and associated technology platforms Conduct pre-trade activities and post-trade settlement cycle to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy of information, trade matching and allocation to brokers and custodians Investigate and resolve trade-related issues raised by member-facing teams Participating in projects and initiatives involving multi-disciplinary teams

You Are:

A fast learner – You are able to learn new technologies, systems, workflows and processes efficiently independently and working as part of a team A problem solver – You diagnose challenges and issues and present innovative business solutions An excellent communicator – You use your written, spoken and interpersonal skills to act as a resource for the specialized area A self-starter and organized planner – You use your coordination skills to present the best approach to address analytical, reporting and business challenges as efficiently as possible

You Have:

An Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field At least 1-2 years’ experience in the financial industry related to trading and finance technology Ability to learn new technology, systems and processes efficiently and develop working knowledge of the rules, regulations, procedures and policies governing this work Willingness to pursue pre-approved continuous learning opportunities such as the CSC (Canadian Securities Course), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) and other relevant courses

The salary range for the role is $56,500 to $84,700 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($70,600). The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
