About the Role

As a Senior Reimbursement Specialist, you will act as a central resource to the respective regional team. Assist the Associate Program Manager in assessing, creating and/or organizing regionally specific resources. Act as a representative of the regional team to offer insight and field intel to the leadership team to better program processes and operations.

This role is operated on a remote basis and is open to candidates that reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon. 

A Day in the Life

Complete and perform all listed duties of the Reimbursement Specialist role including maintaining a caseload Act as a representative of the RS team to assist the APMs and the National Trainer in creating WI and proactively identify how to improve processes and operations Work closely with the APM and National Trainer to assess and develop regionally specific team trainings Act as a central resource liaison for the regional team Participate in the training and onboarding of new hires as a designated field trainer Attend leadership or client meetings as directed by APM Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities Identify, report and document Adverse Events as per Pharmacovigilance requirements Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System as well as key performance indicators for the program. Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel Complete other tasks as requested.

Job Qualification

What You Bring to the Team

Completion of post secondary education or equivalent Minimum 2 years of Canadian public and private reimbursement navigation and advocacy experience, within a patient program environment, ideally with PA/SA drugs for chronic diseases. Experience with drugs Cimzia and Bimzelx Must be fluent in verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for both English and French (Applicable for provinces/regions with French language service requirements) Understanding of provincial and private coverage criteria Familiarity with the Special Authorization process for both public and private insurance Understanding of provincial and private coverage criteria and how to navigate the Canadian Drug Coverage Landscape is considered an asset. Familiarity with PIPEDA and how it applies in a confidential patient environment. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think under pressure Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Suite of products (minimum intermediate level Excel, Word, Power Point) Ability to travel as required – own vehicle required Reliable home internet required Dedicated workspace free from distractions
