309A Journeyman Electrician (2 positions) (Belleville, ON) We are looking for a skilled and licensed 309A Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a 309A Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and relevant regulations.Responsibilities:Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute installations and upgrades.Conduct inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using testing devices and diagnostic tools.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate and complete electrical projects on time and within budget.Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior electricians to support their professional development.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and changes in electrical codes and standards.Requirements:Valid 309A Electrical Contractor license issued by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) in Ontario.Minimum of [number] years of experience working as a Journeyman Electrician in Ontario.Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and other relevant regulations.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various environments.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Join our team and contribute your expertise to delivering high-quality electrical services in Ontario.
