Responsible for the local procurement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock for all departments as requested Determining which vendors, suppliers and services to use Review deliveries against the orders Track the status of back ordered goods Deal with non-supplied or damaged goods by refusal or return Ensure that all invoices are sent to accounts for prompt payment

Shipping & Receiving

Responsible for receiving all food, beverage, linen and liquor. Then packing, storing in compliance with food safe regulations also coordinating delivery to relevant food outlets Ensure an organized controlled flow of approved goods throughout the Resort for prompt payment Responsible for interdepartmental mail delivery and pick up for all departments and buildings Receive merchandise in accordance to Resort procedures, by checking delivery receipts and verifying correct shipping destinations, ensuring outstanding Purchase Order (“P.O.”) and quantity is found to be exact and quality meets specification of order Note discrepancies to the P.O. and any damaged goods, recording any liabilities on Receiving Report for all materials accepted, signing and date stamping all copies of delivery receipts Administer all courier deliveries to and from the Resort determining best method of shipment Ensure all shipments adhere to relevant regulations and are compliant with Canadian and International customs laws and regulations Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions Maintain internal, manual or electronic record-keeping systems to provide tracing and tracking updates to all internal and external customers Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances Ensure recycling is separated and removed in a timely manner Keep the loading bay tidy and clear as it is an emergency exit Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous experience with packaging, receiving, shipping, and inventory management – an asset Experience in handling shipping equipment – an asset Excellent administrative, interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills Class 5 driver’s license required Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate – an asset Previous 2-way radio experience - an asset Completion of Food Safe level 1and WHMIS Certification – an asset
