JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an IT security analyst in our global station configuration department. Reporting to the team leader, the role of the successful candidate will be to contribute to the establishment of security measures, the implementation of dashboards and assessment tools to report inherent risks, the implementation of solutions and determination of residual risks in a consistent and objective manner within the Global Station Configuration department, for all security software in place at BRP.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Work with the global Cybersecurity team to establish senior management requirements for end-user IT. Identify software and hardware vulnerabilities for our service. Suggest hardware and software fixes to team members. Monitor various safety measures and ensure their application. Share results with the IT team and management.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

At least 5 years of experience in IT support with a strong interest in security. The ability to stay abreast of new developments in safety and industry best practices. Good knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/Qualys would be a distinct advantage, as these are our main deployment tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google suite would be an asset for analysis purposes. Strong analytical, problem-solving and information-processing skills. A positive attitude with the ability to influence, persuade and initiate change. Excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or in English on a daily basis.
