Responsibilities

Designing and Implementing Software of Embedded Devices and Systems Electronics background with proficiency in digital design and HDL such as Verilog Strong Hands-on experience in programming with C/C++/Verilog/Matlab Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, computer architecture is desired

Qualifications

BS or higher degrees preferred (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Software experience) Electronics background with proficiency in digital design and HDL such as Verilog Proven SW/FW architecture skills showing a deep understanding of embedded systems and micro-processors Familiar with bare metal programming techniques, interrupt handlers and concurrency.  Knowledge of how to write code for CPU and memory constrained environments is an asset Proficient in using GCC. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl) is an asset.  Strong problem solving and debugging skills. Experience using hardware debugging tools such as logic simulators, logic analyzers, JTAG, ICE, etc. is an asset.  Attention to detail, well organized, multi-tasking and ability to follow detailed documentation, strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts Team player with good interpersonal skills - adaptable and flexible The position requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross-functional and globally dispersed teams
