Job Description

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
We are looking for a motivated candidate to work as a clinical research coordinator. They will need to be able to work alone, under the direction of the immediate supervisor.

General Duties
•Assist in the planning and organization of research projects,
•Recruit and phone screen participants in clinic, by phone and email,
•Collect and manage data,
•Ensure compliance with protocol guidelines,
•Accomplish any other administrative/clerical tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.

Education / Experience

Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC)

Work Experience: 2 years

Required Skills

•Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
•Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
•Attention to detail and accuracy,
•Good analytical and logic skills,
•Problem assessment and problem solving abilities,
•Demonstrate diplomacy, discretion and good judgment,
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
