Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Chinese School, the Principal will oversee the general operations of the .

Main Duties:

Operate and ensure the smooth running of the Mon Sheong Chinese School Summer Camp; Teaching management: observe, instruct, and mentor teachers, including Cantonese, Putonghua, Conversation and Mathematics; Manage resources including but not limited to teachers, program assistants, equipment, and supplies; Work closely with the Director and Administrative Officer in daily operation ; Maintain good communications with parents; Promote the work and activities of the Mon Sheong Foundation; Perform other duties related to Chinese School operations as assigned. This is a part-time contract position.

Qualifications:

Strong management experience, preferably in a school setting; Previous teaching experience, preferably within Ontario; Teachers’ College Diploma, University Degree, or equivalent; Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin; Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and supervisory skills; Available to work from July 2, 2024 to August 2, 2024, Monday to Friday
