This position is responsible for dealing with people/machine issues, while ensuring product quality along with standard productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform line checks, set-up and operation at standard speed and weights
  • Organize the department personnel in their job station placements rotationally covering breaks.
  • Ensure all Q.C. documentation is accurate
  • Ensure formulas and standards are followed, verify oven bake time and temperature
  • Report mechanical malfunction issues to Supervisor and line mechanic and record on DT sheet
  • Ensure minimum downtime throughout the shift (Operational and mechanical) and record all downtime
  • Report all deficiencies to supervisor.  I.e. employee issues, quality concerns, staff shortage, overtime hours, process concerns
  • Ensure proper cleaning of all process equipment and good housekeeping throughout shift and at shift end
  • Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
  • Adhere to GMPs, food safety practices and Health and Safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Must work with speed and accuracy to keep up with the production process
  • Must be a team leader who is dependable and punctual
  • Effective communication in essential.
  • Must have excellent attendance and work habits
  • Experience with GMP and safety awareness
