Journeyman Pipefitter

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.

We are looking for Journeyman Pipefitters, Camp / In-Field with accommodations provided (for camp jobs) and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers your prefered method of travel. We have multiple shifts, 10/4 14/7 or 21/7.

Hourly Wage: $47 per hour Employee & $61 per hour DSP

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet

Journeyman pipefitter certification WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing Valid apprenticeship ticket Oil and gas experience preferred, not required, comfortable working in all weather conditions Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time

Where our projects are located:

Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC. You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.
