Live-in Superintendent

The Role

  • Build positive tenant relations and communications.
  • Respond to all tenant inquiries, emergencies, and complaints in a timely & courteous manner, following an on-call schedule for evenings & weekends.
  • Perform seasonal work as required including gardening, snow removal (salting/shoveling walkways & common areas)
  • Show vacant apartments to prospective residents.
  • Assist with move-in/move-outs.
  • Monitor activity throughout the building to ensure residents & their guests adhere to Management policies.
  • Ensure property is maintained in a clean, "debris-free" condition at all times.
  • Perform building maintenance & repair, facilitating work orders & coordinating with any contractors/service people as required.
  • Perform all administrative tasks as required by management including serving notices, maintaining logs, rent collection etc.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in building maintenance/property management
  • Must have experience with floor installation, kitchen cabinet installation & plaster/drywall repair.
  • Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, paint/repairs.
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills

Job type – full time

Schedule – 8-hour shift & on call

Salary: 40K – 45K
