Bakery Supervisor

What you’ll do:

Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences Provide leadership and direction to the Bakery team in order to ensure a highly productive atmosphere exists  Assist Bakery Manager in directing and overseeing the Bakery team in production, housekeeping, inventory management, and stocking shelves Assist Bakery Manager with performance management for the Bakery department Assist Bakery Manager with sales and margin targets  Actively out on the sales floor working one-on-one with team members and leading by example Assist with administrative tasks for the Bakery department  Ordering, receiving, warehousing and stocking of product daily Inspire a committed, shared vision of respectful teamwork Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties  Complete daily sanitation and temperature logs and abide by all Alberta Food Safe practices Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis  Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety Perform other duties as assigned

You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous supervisory experience would be an asset You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members  You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
