Alteo is looking for an IT Director for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your primary role will be to manage the operation and delivery of IT services. You will report to the Senior Director, Technologies, and manage three department heads in charge of IT infrastructure and operations, software development, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mobilize multidisciplinary technical teams by providing a common understanding of vision, objectives, plans, roles and responsibilities, and expected individual and collective behaviors.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency at all levels in the planning and organization of work, and in the execution and delivery of services according to expected standards and objectives.
  • To facilitate the deployment of each person's full potential by promoting individual and collective accountability and performance, and to maximize team strength through each person's contribution.
  • Proactively combine day-to-day operational management imperatives with the delivery of business initiatives, special projects and high-visibility corporate projects.
  • Excellent risk management by promptly identifying and communicating all potential issues, defusing them upstream or proactively taking charge to neutralize and resolve proven problems.
  • Work effectively with all stakeholders (colleagues, partners, customers, management, etc.), adopting a customer service-oriented posture at all times, and communicating clearly, in layman's terms and in a pedagogical manner, to ensure that expectations are properly managed in order to achieve the organization's objectives.
  • Carry out excellent ongoing field monitoring of file progress, and report effectively, smoothly and promptly on progress and issues.
Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 10-15+ years experience in IT
  • 3+ years' experience in team management, including executives
  • IT generalist, with a good understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, software development and business intelligence
  • Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure operations
  • Good knowledge of IT operations processes (incident management, deployment. e.g. ITIL)
  • Good knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps
  • Good knowledge of critical high-availability solution management
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft environment (Azure, 365), VMWare, SAN storage, telephony, networks, BI, Power BI, ERP etc.
  • Management experience in a unionized organization (asset)
  • Ability to plan and organize, clearly communicating strategic objectives and translating them into an operational roadmap, and to distribute the workload fairly and equitably.
  • Demonstrate adaptive leadership by proposing solutions, listening and asking questions in order to understand and remain open. Be an exemplary role model, respecting commitments and adapting to people, context and organization.
  • Know how to communicate by listening attentively and expressing oneself frankly, clearly and precisely to ensure mutual understanding that is constantly aligned with the organization's strategy. Quickly share relevant information with all stakeholders.

Alteo est à la recherche d'un Directeur TI pour un emploi permanent basé à Montréal.

Votre rôle principal sera de gérer l’exploitation et la livraison des services TI. Vous relèverez du Directeur principal technologies, et gèrerez trois chefs de service en charge de l'infrastructure et exploitation TI, du développement logiciel, et de l’intelligence d’affaires.

Responsabilités:
  • Diriger et mobiliser des équipes techniques multidisciplinaires en fournissant une compréhension commune de la vision, des objectifs, des plans, des rôles et responsabilités et des comportements attendus individuels et collectifs.
  • Assurer un alignement et une cohérence à tous les niveaux dans la planification et l’organisation du travail et dans l’exécution et la livraison des services selon les standards et objectifs attendus.
  • Faciliter le déploiement du plein potentiel de chacun en valorisant la responsabilisation et la performance individuelle et collective et pour maximiser la force de l’équipe par la contribution de chacun.
  • Conjuguer proactivement et de façon hors pair les impératifs de gestion opérationnels au quotidien avec la livraison d’initiatives d’affaires et projets spéciaux et la livraison de projet corporatif à haute visibilité.
  • Faire une excellente gestion de risques en identifiant et communiquant promptement tous enjeux potentiels, en les désamorçant en amont ou en effectuant une prise en charge proactive pour neutraliser et résoudre les problèmes avérés.
  • Travailler efficacement avec toutes parties prenantes (collègues, partenaires, clients, direction, etc.) en adoptant en tout temps une posture orientée service à la clientèle, une communication claire, vulgarisée et pédagogue favorisant une bonne gestion des attentes dans l’atteinte des objectifs de l’organisation.
  • Effectuer un excellent suivi terrain en continu de l’avancement des dossiers et effectuer une reddition de compte efficace, fluide et rapide sur l’avancement et les enjeux de ceux-ci.
 Profil:
  • BAC en informatique ou l'équivalent
  • 10-15+ années d’expérience en TI
  • 3+ années d’expérience en gestion d’équipe y compris des cadres
  • Généraliste des TI, avec une bonne compréhension de l'infrastructure et exploitation TI, du développement logiciel et de l'intelligence d'affaires
  • Bonne connaissance en exploitation d’infrastructure Infonuagique
  • Bonne connaissance en processus d’exploitation TI (gestion des incidents, déploiement. e.g. ITIL)
  • Bonne connaissance en DevOps/DevSecOps
  • Bonne connaissance en gestion de solutions critiques à haute disponibilité
  • Bonne connaissance de l'environnement Microsoft (Azure, 365), VMWare, Stockage SAN, téléphonie, réseaux, BI, Power BI, ERP etc.
  • Expérience en gestion dans une organisation syndiquée (atout)
  • Savoir planifier et organiser en communicant clairement les objectifs stratégiques et les traduisant en feuille de route opérationnelle et lui répartir la charge de travail de façon juste et équitable.
  • Avoir un leadership adaptatif en proposant des solutions, en écoutant et posant des questions pour comprendre et rester ouvert. Être un modèle d’exemplarité en respectant ses engagements et en s’adaptant aux gens, au contexte et à l’organisation.
