Our client is looking for Senior Cloud Engineers to join their team and lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure that supports our growing business needs.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure our cloud environments are reliable, efficient, and secure. Your role will also involve automating cloud processes, optimizing performance, and mentoring junior engineers in cloud best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies that ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and management tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor cloud performance and optimize resources to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role, with a strong focus on cloud architecture and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with one or more major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their associated services.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results on time.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and functions as a service (FaaS).
  • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies.


Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong understanding of database architecture, management, and performance tuning. Proficiency with one or more DBMS, such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Experience with database backup, recovery, and security procedures. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Familiarity with database design, normalization, and data modeling techniques. Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools related to database management. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, Oracle DBA Certification). Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
