Diet Technician

Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:

Required

Successful completion of a 2 year Nutrition and Food Service Management Diploma and/or 2 year Dietetic Technician Diploma and/or equivalent education in Nutrition Available to work all shifts Excellent problem solving, decision making and organizational skills Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record Knowledge of and adherence to Brightshores ‘CARE’ Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes

Recent experience working as a Diet Technician Experience with Computrition Software Member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)
