Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Framer, engaging in various construction projects across Vancouver Island and AB. This role involves starting with concrete tasks, transitioning to framing, specifically at the ongoing Citygate development in Langford. The project spans 6-8 weeks before moving onto subsequent projects. Responsibilities include working with prefabricated exterior walls, stick framing interior walls, operating hand and power tools, general site cleanup and organization.

Hard Skills

• Operation of hand and power tools
• Wall, back, and floor framing
• Window and door installation
• Cutting and measuring lumber
• Using nail guns
• Installing wood trusses

Qualifications:

• 6 months minimum experience construction laborer on commercial sites.

• Fall Pro/Working at Heights – Practical Training Certificates Only

Work Environment

Will be working alongside a team of 10-20 framers

working on multi family residential projects completing wood framing work

site start time is 7 and end time is 5pm 10 hour days

Lots of overtime available.
